The Selfless Selfies project takes the scaffolding of my undergraduate photography class (Phonar) and repurposes it for an open and non-academic demographic. The “class” (which is concerned with issues of agency and self representation) is then deployed through a pre-existing network of users, in this case the disaggregated communities of people living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
